I’ve built my dog walking business to $3k/month with 2 employees, and have ONLY 5-star reviews. I’ve been doing this full time for about a year, but I got my first dog walking client when I was 10 years old. 

I really got into it after college when I realized I could stay at people’s homes and lounge by their pools and get paid for it. My side hustle has come a long way from lounging at client’s pools after college to get away from my parents house, to… lounging at pools with my dog and my laptop.

My marketing job was great — mostly remote, but I wanted to make a little extra cash on the side. The thing was… I was tired of staring at a computer screen all day and wanted to do something different. Leave the cave and get some exercise.
So I revived my Dog-Walking Side Hustle. I began walking dogs on my lunch break. Babysitting them in my house and put them on the same routine as my dog. Staying overnight at client homes—as long as they have wifi, I’m good to go.

It’s something I’ve always done to make a little extra cash here and there. But I’ve grown to love it so much, it’s my primary source of income, with 4 dog walkers covering my clients now too. I’ve even expanded to do reiki for dogs and I love baking dog treats for all my pups. And in case you're new here, my dog Poppy is my best friend!
